i checked the fuse and it was okay,

because ive just had to rebuild the tranny[not cheap]
and the o2 sensor all within a three week period......
I dont want to spend any more money at the dealership thanks...
PS.. I Dont know if the computer being reset had any thing
to do with this.....????

chzuck,
The best course of action is to trace the power locks system to see there the problem is occurring. In order to do this, you need to purchase a "multi meter" if you don't know.... it's a device that can mesure resistance and votage in eletrical systems.
Then starting at the power locks button test for voltage and etiher work your way towards the power locks or back towards the battery depending on your multi-meter readings.
I promise you .... if you don't already have a multi-meter go out and buy one, it will be the BEST tool you ever bought for your car, and i'm sure everyone will back me up on that statment.
good luck, and let us know how you made out.

thanks for the advice .
i read in a earlier post on resetting the multiplex
system and this seems to have done the trick
for now . but im still not sure why the locks would
stop working in the first place.
