1994 Ranger revs up all by its self

have a 1994 Ford Ranger XLT 2.3 liter 135000 Miles
and I replaced the IAC with no help

but if I disconect the plug of the iac it stops reving up by it self but then in the mornigs it wont rev up when its cold...

Can some one plese help

Change the Throttle Position Sensor. It is located close to the throttle body, has 2 screws holding it in. Should have a plug coming off one side. Hope this helps!

Mine has that same problem.....But not all the time. For weeks at a time it behaves.....Then all of a sudden any time it is in neutral 4 GRAND HERE WE COME> WFO.

that was the problem change that sensor and problem when away
and also noted more power.

By the way what can I do get more power out of that engine 2.3 (safely)

bigger engine or free flowing exhaust and free flowing intake.

throttle body spacer, header and exhaust, new intake, chip it, new MAF, igntion system, high pressure fuel pump, K&N, etc - check out
