I have a problem with my beemer........... there's coolingfluid in the motoroil.... what must I do?????????????? HELP!!! Greetzzzz Pieter Beachcomer 12-30-2003, 08:35 PM Well, Pieter, how good are you with a compression tester? Are you familiar with doing a compression check? Those are some "symptoms" of a blown head gasket. If you're not currently driving it, then don't start. You RISK further engine damage. Because if engine coolant is leaking into a cylinder and you try to start the car with the uncompressible, noncombustible fluid in there, serious damage (bent valves, bent rod, cracked piston, broken rings--you get the picture. If you're familiar with the troubleshooting and repair of a head gasket (cracked or warped head, are also possibilities) then dig in. If not, get it to your favorite repair shop. It won't be cheap (mainly labor prices). dutchbmw 12-31-2003, 03:47 AM Hello beachcomer, thanx for your information. I think i get as soon as possible to my repair shop, because i won't have a damaged engine! Maybe I will let them check the compression first, so in order to know if the head gasket is a gonner! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
