Here's the situation. This is a 2003 base model RSX that was turbocharged in september at roughly 9k miles. The boost is at 5psi with a stage I set up, meaning no internal engine buildup. Stock transmission that may be upgraded by LEVEL 10. As for the gauges and electronics, it has a greddy profec b boost controller, and apexi s-afc II, boost, oil pressure and a/f ratio guage. I want to know how much you would pay for this car if it was to be sold with 15k miles on it????

I bought my type S for 17,500 with 15K, so I would give you under 15,000. Didnt you say the car was tuned wrong in another post...hmmmm....maybe less

you know what, ur an idiot if u think i would sell my car for that price with all that this car has. And you need to reorder your words, the car was tuned correctly, it was purposely tuned a little rich, but i messed with the ratio and made it too rich. Basically, don't try to make my thread sound like shit :chair:

Whoa buddy, relax ....lets not get all riled up. First of all, I couldnt give two shits what you would sell your car for- all I'm saying is that is the price I would pay. You asked the question- so don't get pissed when the answer doesnt suit you. Do you think it's worth the same as a type S with the same mileage? If you buy the S and install the same equipment it would blow you out- so which would be the better investment? :screwy:

What kind of turbo did you put on? Do you have wheels/tires? How is the interior and the paint on the exterior? I checked Kelley's Blue Book for it, and in perfect condition w/ 15K miles on it, the book is $18,975 for a 2003 BASE MODEL.

You would never get Blue Book value, first of all. Like I said, the dealer was selling my Type S with 15K for $17,500...
I know it sucks when you put alot of time and money into a car and can't recoup on the sale, but that's what happens in most cases. Unless you sell to another tuner, most people or dealers only see a BASE RSX with 15,000 miles, a potentially engine damaging aftermarket turbo and a voided warrantee. Not to mention most serious tuners would opt for the S anyway.
But again, would you buy a used base RSX for $19,000 :screwy: , or a Type-S for 17,500 and spend the 1,500 dollars on upgrades? You won't get as much equipment as Sage is offering, but it's a start and you'll end up with a faster car in the long run....

yeah, i did the value check in kbb. it has a t3/t4 turbonectics turbo with a spearco intercooler, apexi s-afc II, greedy profec boost controller, a/f, oil pressure, and boost guage, 2 7.2inch lcd's, magnaflow exhaust, leather seats, and a rebuilt transmission to withstand the power delievered from the engine......NOW how much would you pay for it????

Now THAT is a different story. How were we supposed to answer the question accurately without all the info? That's alot more than just a turbo. What's the hp/ quarter mile?

i didn't want to give all the info..and there is more mod's, but just to answer your other question, the quarter mile isn't exactly found as of yet. I only hit the track one time doing 3 runs just to test the transmission output and to learn the best way to hit the shift points using the shiftronic function (going fully automatic causes too much slipping cause it's more torque the tranny can efficiently handle). My best run was 15 flat with a .6 reaction time, which is one of my worst, i usually have r/t .4 or less....anyway, in floriday the dyno was 230whp, in colder weather its projected to go 250 or 260, with an n-tercooler sprayer, i could get 260. Remember, i'm only at 5psi. Once the tranny is upgraded, best believe i'll go up to 7-8psi and higher. It has been done with an output of 305whp.

I thought I was doing hella good in a race against a brand new RSX the other day on the freeway. I drive a Civic Ex VTEC..1.6L lol.

But yeah..we were each going about 105-110 on the freeway right next to each other when he decided to stop toying with me and smoke me..he left me so far in the dust...

Like I said...RSX...I ...want...
