I have a 99 Jeep Grand Cherkoee and initially one of the attachments (right front) to the seat bracket (electric 3-button) broke. I went to the dealership and I was quoted $450+taxes for a whole new bracket but the metal attachment from the frame of the seat to the bracket was the only thing broken. I checked junk yards in the Buffalo, New York area for the part and at that time no one even had the truck. So, Iwent to a wielder and he tacked it back. He also informed me that I would lose a lot of range of motion. 2-3 weeks later the left front broke. I know it is a cheaper proper way of fixing it (it always is when deal with the dealer). I am open for any suggestions.
