double post.

you know damn well where everyone got theirs.
they imported them, and were legalized by motorex.
go read the other reply, and take some time to read the stickies at the top of this, and the US forum...

Well Santa was kind enough to supply me one 2 years ago. I actually purchased it from a local car yard on December 15, 2001. That means in another 2 years i will own it outright *sigh*

well why dont you try gettting one in NZ... i mean they are practically nothing over there.. like i have 3 and paid 8000 usd for them ... trying to see if i can get them to be US legalized over there... so that i dont have to pay as much.

You have 3? Let me see some pics. I believe you have 3 skylines in NZ like I believe I will be elected moderator of this board after 15 days of membership. Update your user profile with some pics of your cars. I got pics of my cars in my gallery. Lets see yours.

They are actually cheap over here, but you CAN'T legalize them here for the States.

They’re just not that expensive over here.

To get a Skyline into the US, you go and bend over nicely for Motorex. End of story. Even if you have 3 Skylines in NZ, it's not going to be any cheaper to legalise them (if indeed Motorex will do that for someone else's car; I dunno whether they're in that business, or just importing the cars themselves.)

Hmmmm.. fly-spray kills flys, so..... we need some "thread-spray" for threads like this. As already mentioned, please read the sticky threads, and the US forum.

Too true. If you are in the US there is only ONE way that you can import a Skyline legally and that is through Motorex.

Repeat - THERE IS NO OTHER LEGAL WAY AROUND THIS.

Please read this thread about importing to the US:
