Does anyone here have this kit? My mom bought it for me last night, and I was just wondering how it was, and if you could post some pics of it, if it isn't too much trouble. Do the headlights go in ok? Thanks for taking the time to read this.

It's pretty good, alot of parts shared with the Firebird kit. I havent glued the headlights in yet, i'm just finishing it. Sorry no pics, no camera.

No pics, it's a decent kit but I think it lacks the proper ram air setup under the hood, and the wheels/tires are significantly undersized...as per usual by Revell and Fujimi... :disappoin :banghead:

Mine will be built as an earlier version, w/the Corvette Grand Sport rims.

There's one big flaw in the front bumper where it's attached to the top half of the fenders. Umm... hard to explain, but I think a member here, Camarossboy, had a progress thread where he fixed the problem.

Thanks. I'll run a search for Camaro's progress. Thanks for the heads up about it.

here i am to the rescue! lol Heres my review of one of my favorite model cars; done up in C&D Style!
The Good: Its a Camaro. And its an SS. Plus its affordable, mediocore detail
The Bad:Alot of things are wrong with this car. A: The car comes with manual window cranks. Um, i dont belive this was an option for 2002. I think its because it sharers parts with Monogram's 97 (?) Pontiac Forumula. Getting the throttle body to hook up with the airbag can be a tricky bitch. Another inaccurate thing would be the body line, which Honoturtle previously mentioned. And, with this kit, the dashboard has the Delco sterio installed. But it comes with the steering wheel radio controls. The steering wheel radio controlls were equipped if only the car had the Monsoon system. The front suspension is..wiggly, because the top shock/springs dont hit the upper fender, resulting in a bit of a camber. Oh yeah, dont folly the directions/box art. In the box art car it shows the reverse lights on bottom and blinkers on top. That is wrong. Do the opposite. Underhood has been kept to a bare minimal. Also, dont get upset if you get glue on the headlights. Its basically impossible not to. And you might brake the front facia off trying to get the chassis to fit in there.
The Verdict: If you really want a good simple LS1 SS, i suggest getting AMT's Z28, and put the SS Hood, spoiler and LS1Nose on it.

Yeah, I really apprecate you taking the time to type all that out.
I've noticed quite a few things wrong myself. The spoiler has a huge gap it it because it was molded flat, and the Camaro trunk has a little curve in it, and not to mention all the things that you listed too. It would be one awesome kit, if they would have spent a little more time on it.
