I've guessed the rheostat is bad. Am I right? Anybody know where the rheostat is? --John hossierrun 12-23-2003, 11:06 AM 97 voyager 3.3 se rallye front & rear air The fan (heat/air/defog) only works on hi using any of the controls (driver, driver's control of rear, or rear control). Look up and under and you should see a unit that is clipped on the firewall, about where the top of the blower would be. This unit is the speed control resistor for the blower. In high, it bypasses this device and applies full ground to the blower return. At other speeds, the resistor puts a few ohms in the circuit to ground. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
