Average Cost to Lower a Carknight4874 12-21-2003, 02:47 PM Hi Everyone, I have a 2003 Civic LX, and I know someone who said they can lower my car, Springs and Shocks for $300 (labor only). Is this a good price? What is the average cost a shop would charge? Any info would be greatly appreciated.... KT BullShifter 12-21-2003, 02:57 PM Labor only for $300? Book time(what most shops go by) is about 3.0hrs labor front & 2.4hrs rear not including alignment. Spend $70.00 on a factory repair manual & do it yourself. It's not really hard if you have the tools. www.helminc.com --- repair manuals. What suspension are you going with? knight4874 12-21-2003, 03:15 PM Hi jackasssi, Thanx for the info, I don't know much about cars, and since it's kinda new I don't want to do it myself. For suspension, I have my eye on the Eibach Prokit Springs, and am still waiting on Tokico to finish developing the shocks for my car/model (should be out in early 2004). Do you have any ideas about other shocks? I was also thinking about Koni... KT BullShifter 12-21-2003, 03:47 PM I'd go for the Koni yellows if you have the extra $$$$.
