Infinity CD Player Troublekelltech 12-21-2003, 01:43 PM I have a '94 ZJ with the Infinity Gold and when I put a CD in the player it auto-ejects the cd with no error message on the display and it won't play any cd, not even a cd cleaner. Anybody ever fix thios situation? Thanks! lowrider58 12-27-2003, 07:58 AM I have a 99 jgc w/infinity gold and my cd player does it now mostly with burned cd's because the format in which it was decode is not compatible. Recent I purchased Outkast from curcuit city and andre' 3000's cd doesn't play. Sorry, I didn't have the answer but may be some insight. glebeaux 01-13-2005, 09:41 AM Just got a good deal on a 94 Jeep GC. Noticed that the Inifiity Gold system will not play any CD, (also a problem with radio, no sound, but the previous owner installed a new power antenna, need to check it out.) Have not seen any suggestions/help on fixing the Inifity CD problem. So, am planning on replacing the head unit with a Clarion DB435MP CD/MP3 player. Will first try wiring to the amp. If that does not work, will try bypassing the amp. Will post results. kelltech 01-13-2005, 10:46 AM Just got a good deal on a 94 Jeep GC. I replaced mine with a pioneer, I would say its much better to just replace the unit, way too expensive and not worth the cost of repairing. bigtim 01-13-2005, 02:25 PM Hi guys and girls, I was wondering if you could help me, I have just had my car repaired by a garage because the car wouldn't start (read my other post "starting problems no fault codes") and when the car came back the stereo wanted a code. I wasn't given the code for the stereo when I brought the car and garage that did the work doesn't want to know:mad: You talk about replacing the stereo in this thread what I would like to know is, were your replacement stereos the same size as the original and if not can you get a blanking plate to go around the replacement stereo? or even fit a double size din stereo? Is there a jeep part no for it? If anyone over here in the uk has any info I would be grateful.
