I have a 1998 Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9 with the Infinity Speaker system.

I am looking to replace all the speakers in the whole car with upgraded aftermarket speakers. I also want to replace the head unit and factory amp. The previous owner blew most of the speakers.

Question is, does anyone know the sizes of the speakers? I have two tweeters in dash, two speakers in front doors, two in rear doors, and two mounted on the roof above cargo area...

any information would be great!

Not sure where you live, but I am getting new front and rear door speakers from Audio Express (st. Louis, mo) for $180 installed. These are 200 Watt Kenwood Speakers, and while they are not high end, they are guaranteed to be much better than the factory Infinity Gold speakers that the jeep came with.

going to install these myself... have done this before, but it has been awhile... i thought the speaker prices were good... and excited to play mp3's in the car...

they were 6 1/2 all around... no 6x9 in the car... might save someone sometime.
