I have a V6 3.1 L engine. I found a device hanging off the vacuum canister. It is inline to the tank, it was slipping off. Can someone tell me what this is and does it ever need to be replaced?

Funny, mine also, it might be a one way valve, are you experiencing issues like bad gas milage or hard starts when hot?
