I recently bought a 97 Rodeo with 75k on it. I am very happy with it but have noticed a little rattle when going slower speeds (under 30 mph or so) coming from the left front suspension area and ONLY when I hit a pothole or bump. Once above 30 or so ya cant hear or feel it and the suspension feels great. Any ideas what it could be? It does appear that the truck may have been involved in a left front hit that was repaired as ya can see the paint tinting difference toward the rear door area.
Lastly, anyone know where I can get an owners manual for it without having to spend the $44 that Isuzu's publisher wants?
Thanks in advance!

I cant help you with the suspension problem but as for the owners manual I would check on ebay. They have a bunch of manuals on there all the time its just a matter of finding one for 1997.

I'm not sure what kind of rattle you have, and if you are sure it is a suspension problem then this won't help, but have you checked to see if you are missing some spring washers from your lug nuts? I was and the wheel cap would rattle because just the lug nuts and regular washers won't hold it tight enough. If you find this might be the problem I would suggest going to a junkyard to find the washers. Autozone, Napa etc.. does not have them, and Isuzu will only sell the whole lug nut with the washer. 1 lug costs about $10.00. I just conserved and took a few off of another wheel. 3 ususally holds it. Sorry if this is completely off base for you. Just a thought.
