Recently, I seem to have pumped some dirty gas into my '98 G Cherokee. I have been told that the only fuel filter in my truck is the one inside the fuel tank (suposedly there is no line filter). Went to the dealer and they are asking $175.51 (!!) for a filter. Is this right? Where can I look for advise and/or the proper filter in the internet??

Factory part number is 4798301 for filter.Factory retail $ 99.85 .
I would try another dealer. If you cannot get a dealer to sell it less than $100,email me ,I keep it in stock and I can ship it to you UPS with a credit card.Pietro686@juno.com
