Hi Guys

I recently lowered my suspension fitting shortened shocks and shortened springs. My ride-height is uneven, the back still looks like the standard ride whereas the front has been lowered. Is there something that I missed when I did the install?

Did you put the springs in backwards? Front is rear and rear is front?

check that ^^^^^

also drive the car & come to a complete stop with as little braking as possible on a level surface. Then check it with the e-brake OFF.

How can we tell if you missed something? It's not like we can see the car or were there with you during the install.

What springs/shocks?

Is it possible to get them mixed up(front to back, back to front)? I'll have a look but I don't think so.

Sure, you could also have them upside down

Upside down you say. And that would also affect the height?

What suspension set-up are you using?

The side with the closer coils goes up, usually. If not set right the spring won't sit properly. If the fronts are on the rears/rears on fronts - the front would be lower since front springs are stiffer than rear.

It's a South African make, Koenic Spring, and an uprated Gabriel shock. You've probably never come across them.

If I look at the back setup, the more compressed coils are on top.

Is the front springs not narrower than the rear springs?

Rear springs are normally* smaller in diameter compared to fronts.

Nice clean lookin' car. The back does not look right, front looks good though.

Is the spring all the way down in the perch? I had a crap set of coilovers that wouldn't sit all the way down in the perch and it did the same thing.
