car makes rattling noise

Hi,

I have a 3 series BMW.

Recently everytime i move off the car makes a rattling noise. Whilst i'm driving the noise continues. I don't think its the exhaust. Could it be the gearbox?

Any suggestions would be helpful

You need to get it on a lift and locate the noise.

It is not possible to troubleshoot noises remotely.
