I need a new engine in my '90 Escort GT. I have a low mileage engine and 5 speed trans from a '94 Escort GT, Will the '94 engine and trans bolt into the '90 Escort?

No, a 90 GT is a SOHC Ford CVH design, while the 94 GT is a DOHC Mazda bp design motor.
All the eletronics are differant, and the shell of a 91-96 escort is Mazda while the 90 is a ford.
