i have a 99 integra gsr with a stage 3 clutch, racing intake manifold, intake, exaust, cam gears, nitto extreme tires, and ignition wires so far but i am so unimpressed with the speed of my car the top end sucks and the acceleration is pretty decent but thats it what can i do to get my car really fast. i am new to the car game but want to definetly get into it.

use the search function. do your own research and your car will be a lot faster :smokin:

I would think hard about a turbo system.

shit guys, cut the noob some slack. the search function does help a lot, but so far, the replies to this thread certainly do NOT help at all. try to be a little more constructive here. :disappoin

ac gsr, how much money are you willing to spend? obviously the freer your money flows, the easier it is to get your car faster. your options are boost, nitrous, or build up your motor for an all-motor setup. your question is pretty vague. try to specify what you want, how much $$$ you want to spend, etc. it'll help.

If you have 70k then sell your car and buy a S2k and turbo that.

You say acceleration is alright but top end sucks? That's normal for your 'GSR' integra. Hondas aren't renowned for their torque and to counter that honda created a closer ratio gear-box (even more-so for the GSR, type R in asia). If you want better top-end, get a wider-ratio gearbox, but your acceleration will then 'suck'. The only way you'll get great acceleration and great top-end is with a car with a huge engine. V8's and 2L turbo's like subaru STI's and Evo's are good examples of cars that will give you the best of both worlds, but you want really get there without a lot of effort.

Of course you could splash out and turbo it, while adding a longer ratio gearbox. That could compensate SUFFICIENTLY in the low-end and give you the gentle ride you want at 150kph.

get rid of the intake manifold, then add a supercharger and header.
