problem with tailgate and bedextender?

i have an 03 long bed fronty with bedextender and liner.

I have to push in on my gate a little when trying to open it. Seems that my bedexter is pushing on it such that lifting the handle cant open it unless i push the gate in (opposite the way the rails of the extender are pushing the gate). seems like the extender with the liner is a tight fit.

anyone else have that problem with extender and gate with liner making it tough to open the gate?

come on folks... we need more activity in this forum!

have a 2000 and the liner from factory does it and i have to push the gate to lift handle sometimes, but i live with it.
