Mine always does it and I did wonder why it did at first, but its fine. brokedownneon 12-12-2003, 12:20 AM why cant it cool down a little more quietly...you know i never noticed that about this car until i did the recent work to it....as long as it's normal operation im satisfied MStout 12-12-2003, 12:54 AM Ha...I dont know ask Dodge. Its no problem though I can assure you, its just the way it works. I think it makes the car sound high tech anyway...so does so engine whizzing in 2nd gear at low RPMs...sounds like a little turbo. Haha. 1quickneon 03-23-2004, 11:39 PM The other day when i put my intake in, the car started to make this high pitched noise i never heard be4. I started to panic then i just tapped one of the spark plug boots and it stopped. It hasnt been back either so i guess i got lucky NeonStyl 03-24-2004, 01:28 PM Thats normal...its just the computer "cooling down" I guess until it just shuts off and goes to sleep. What he said... its the PCM that whines, most all first-gen neon's do it... its not a problem. L8R, firsttimer95 03-30-2004, 07:05 PM I always wondered what that was......... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
