'90 Cavalier Fuel guage doesn't work after fill when < 10 degrees F... why ?

The guage stays stuck on full. It's really strange because after I fill once when it's a little warmer, it's fine again. This happened last year a couple of times too when it was really cold. It worked fine all summer though. No big deal, I just have to watch my miles.

hey man it is a $20 part but u must drop the tank it is the sending unit not the pump
