Hello everyone I need a little help:
I have a overheating problem with Neon 99 RT with 30K that started last night. While idleing, even with ac on, temperature reaches normal (little below halfway on the guage). While driving overheating occurs even with the ac off and at any speed. If it´s the water pump how can I be sure that it´s bad? Does it leak?, Is there supposed to be noticeable movement of fluid when radiator cap is removed? as was the case with older cars.

Solution: I followed the advice of another member and changed the radiator cap and the problem was solved.
