Is this normal?

Alright, well im new on here, but i got a few questions rite off the batt. Ive had my Z since march of 03, and i recently put in a Injen CAI on sunday. Today is tues, and whenever im in park, or if im waiting at a red light, the rpm keeps reving very gently between 1 G and 450 rpm, i was just wondering if this was normal due to the intake? cuz its really starting to freak me out. Neone wit input please tell, id appreciate it.

Nope not normal. Go over the CAI again. Make sure your not leaking anywhere, all junctions are good and tight. Did you reset your computer? You should've disconnected the computer for an hour of two for the computer to adjust itself to the new air flow characteristics of your new intake.

It isn't normal, biggest item to check is to make sure the MAF sensor was placed correctly after installing it, I didn't reset the computer and did not have any issues.

how would i restart the computer?

thats right check your MAF

unplug it for a while then plug it back in

reset computer key on 1 sec key off 10 sec repeat three times. as for the problem check for air leak between mass airfow and intake manifold
