I had this ULTRA AWESOME idea (sarcastic) to make my intake longer...so I took 2 radiator hoses and crammed one into the intake nozzle, and then put the smaller one inside the bigger one so it extended down right above the radiator. Would that possibly draw in colder air...although it would still be going through the stock filter and such. Also...what would drilling a hole in the bottom exhaust pipe RIGHT before the muffler do. Would it affect sound or power any? I have all these stupid ideas, and its kinda funny, but Im curious. :naughty:

Scatch!

First, making your intake longer will net you absolutely nothing in terms of power. Second, there is a good chance the hoses will leak where they are joined when you accelerate. Not good. Just buy yourself a real-deal CAI.

Drilling a hole in your exhaust pipe will only make you exhaust loud, and will likely make it stinky because the exhaust will be going to the underside of the car rather than exiting the rear, the way Mother intended.

Keep trying. You may come up with something that works. :)
