I wish that they would make some non race car BMW kits. Oh well. Maybe they will in the future.

Yes, an CSL version of the new M3 would be great! And a Audi A4 and a Golf R32 and...

Damnit! why couldn't they have included the redesigned clear and chrome parts in the rerelease of this kit they put out this past spring?! :banghead:

Got what M3? There is no Tamiya M3. (Is there?) :sly:

I didn't think that they was, unless it's one of like the E36.
I don't even need a CSL version of it, just the E46 M3 would be fine.

Really nice model. Actually I'm preparing that one but with other decals.
Here is it. When I'll have some more free time I'll put it into "completed and in progress"

Sad they have to reissue an old kit to get engine detail. But the engine detail is interesting.... that header is wicked crazy. There's got to be some sort of drag racing turbo Civic application for it, but I'd feel bad busting up this kit just for a header. Still, at least Tamiya's doing something. Hopefully after all this pissing moaning about few kit releases, they'll spread their development budget across more cars this coming year.

Damn, didn't mean to make this into a complaining to Tamiya thread, though if they ever come through here the more they better.

Anyway, that looks cool. Certainly a very cool model, espescially with the engine detail.

Tamiya repackaged the 320i 4 door (I think -- or could be 325 or 318, can't remember) from Revell Germany. They also repacked the 850i as well. That was quite a few years back. I remember I was able to open the box. The only Tamiya parts, I believe, were the tires and the decals. I chose the Hasegawa 320i over it at the time...

The only M3 was from Dragon (E46?) and the older body style from Fujimi (E36?).

Dragon put out a rather nice E36 M3, and Fujimi put out a poor E30. There isn't a kit (certainly not a plastic one, anyway) of the E46.

I just picked up this Jägermeister 320i. It will be my first Tamiya model and the first 'non-American' car I've ever built.

My dog's name is Jäger. German for 'hunter'. Jäger is a great dog too. Friendly, smart and fun to hang around. She loves kids and spends a couple hours each day hanging out playing ball with them. She has the AKC 'CGC' title and she's working on her Therapy Dog title now.

Jäger's Home Page (http://www.geocities.com/j_neas) Check her out. She's the best Roman Cattle Dog in the world!

A NEW CSL? ok, i would of course prefer a release of the real 3.0 csl, instead of the competent but utterly soulless e46 csl. and perhaps a e28 m5...could be based on the old m635csi..... :) :) :) :)
