stepped test pipe in Option video...

if you could check it out, i'm curious as to why this test piple in the video had a stepped insert...

ive got the video...i love it too...too bad i cant understand japanese...

the pipe insert is by k-style (something you probly already knew)...sorry im not of more help...i dled the video yesterday and ive been trying a few different techniques to find out about it...but i havent found anything yet...sorry :(

interesting...
when i dl'd it, it took 2 hours... but that was super duper fast on a double t1 line...
what i said is basically what's in the video...
so why would they want a stepped insert in the test pipe?

keep the turbo spooling with some reduction for low rpm boost response?

i dunno...

Yeah maybe more back-pressure...though you would think at higher rpms it would be counter-productive since it impeeds the flow of exhaust gases and heat from the engine bay. I dunno...just a guess :lol:

I love the mr2 and mkIII supra drifting especially...

the trueno/corolla accident was pretty funny when that asian guy was kicking the car and the door that fell off...
