Have any of you been without your cars for a significant amount of time because it is in the shop or you are away on vacation or whatnot? I was just wondering because I took my baby in to get the front bumper and valance replaced(I hit a REALLY big racoon) and after a week I am actually starting to seriously MISS my car! Is that normal, or am I just being wierd as usual?

When I only had a car or two, I would miss driving it after awhile. These days, I don’t worry to much about it because there usually at least one fun one available to go cruising in.

Yea this past summer and the summer of 2000 I went to Japan for a month. By the end of the month I was dying to drive my car after seeing all the cars I cant see over here and even driving all some bad ass cars. Also when I was installing my TECII, all I did for a week was live under the hood. I was dying to drive it, man and the feeling when it finally fired up!!!

I start to miss my car when I'm in class at school overlooking the parking lot, and I can see her sitting right there...just so close....

I drive my Cobra about once every couple of weeks. I drove it last week for the first time in about a month. And yes, I do miss driving if after a long period of time.
