In Progress : Mazda RX-7 FC3SHiroboy 12-07-2003, 05:18 PM http://www.spc.org.uk/mazda/i/mazda-rx7-fc3s-001.jpg http://www.spc.org.uk/mazda/i/mazda-rx7-fc3s-002.jpg http://www.spc.org.uk/mazda/i/mazda-rx7-fc3s-003.jpg This is my latest offering, a 1985 2nd Generaration RX-7. it will have a GT Wing and Pale Gold Advan wheels. The front bumper was modified with plastic sheet and putty will I was working on the Supra, so sorry no before photo's. This is the second paint job the body has had as the Metallic Red it was first coated in was wrong for the Jap Tuner look, i'm hoping for, so Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red was used in the end. The bonnet is airbrushed in SAAB black which is as black as you get, and then clear coated. XspudX 12-07-2003, 05:20 PM Looks good. Can't wait to see more. circuitR 12-07-2003, 05:24 PM Dude that is a nice FC. Up to your high standards as usual. Camber 12-07-2003, 08:45 PM Damn nice color dude.. Might I ask the size of those Advans? I'm hoping you don't go the 18-19" route with Pegasus sleeves. It'd really look out of place on this car. That would look killer. Hiroboy 12-09-2003, 05:26 PM Please tell me thats getting gold RG's. That would look killer. Yes they are :grinno: They're from the Cwest RX-7 kit. But for some reason they don't look right, so I'm testing out some Enkei NT-03's in white 86_SR5 12-09-2003, 07:04 PM Yes they are :grinno: They're from the Cwest RX-7 kit. But for some reason they don't look right, so I'm testing out some Enkei NT-03's in white White rims, on a red car??? I'll admit, I love white rims, on a white, light blue car, but any other color, I don't particularly care for them. But maybe they'll look good, not as good as gold. IMO, if you had some rims like on your green supra, but a lil smaller with the same gold spokes, you'd have anice work of art. But, hey, let's see what happens. SchuberT 12-09-2003, 08:08 PM i think gold rims are over done... i never see white rims any more... i say, go with a red lip... but i dont know how that'd look Honoturtle 12-10-2003, 02:14 AM Steve, this is good stuff! The painting jig is awesome too! gunluvS14 12-10-2003, 03:43 PM sweet~ I love those FCs. You put on some really nice paint job on it. glad to see another FC being build out there. not trying to hijack your thread, but here is mine :) http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=162480 SpoonMan Dos 12-10-2003, 05:40 PM White rims, on a red car??? Sorry for getting a little off topic Steve, but this should give 86 SR5 a visual of what white rims on a red car look like. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/58104Outdoor_Pics_005-med.jpg 86_SR5 12-10-2003, 06:02 PM I'm aware of that, maybe it's just the ricers around here that've ruined the look for me., David_ 12-10-2003, 07:59 PM hmmm... red car, go with shiny black rims, or a darker shade of red... im just thinking.... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
