Here's my problem. As soon as I take off I might get to 5mph before auto tranny shifts to 2nd. Then it takes forever to build up speed but once I get to 25-30mph it runs great. Hope it's not a major or expensive problem, but if anyone has any tips or suggestions...Thank-You!!!

Is your truck still under warranty? If so, take it in for a look.

I am going to paste a website to take a look at. This has some good info to help diagnose the problem. I had a shifting issue, but not that bad, and it ended up I needed a new valve body. This method described was able to "hide" the problem until it was so bad the the dealership was finally able to "detect" the problem. Remember to make small adjustments, and record what you have done so you can return it to stock if needed.
