Suspension dilemma.. please look91Teg/99EX 12-06-2003, 12:04 AM I found a good deal for a set of Ground Controls off a 2000 SI along with tokiko illuminas. However my car is a 1999 Civic EX and I know that the spring rates are different but I was wondering what effects would it have on my car if I were to install the GC and the shocks made for an SI. The thing im worried about is my car being bouncy as a mofo so can anyone help me out here? Thanks yall SilverY2KCivic 12-06-2003, 03:04 PM I found a good deal for a set of Ground Controls off a 2000 SI along with tokiko illuminas. Thanks yall As far as I know it shouldn't feel any different than it would on an Si since it would be both the shocks AND springs from it. Actually it should be a slightly softer ride since (I'm assuming) your car lacks one thing that the Si has, a rear swaybar. Swaybars depending on how thick, will make that end of the car stiffer than it normally is over bumps and such. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
