hit a deer.sk8nbroslofski 12-02-2003, 02:07 PM well kids i have good news. i was driving home last night and nailed a deer in my eclipse. screwed the fender up pretty bad. i got out and pointed and laughed. it was great. anyway, as for the progress on the supra engine swap, weve hit a tough time. i lost my job and am lacking funds to get things completed. but i have the engine and transmission already bought. i just need the new injectors and a few other things and it will be ready to swap. illGT4 12-02-2003, 02:49 PM What are you swapping a "supra" engine in? I haven't followed your activities. Congrats on hitting the dear! ghetto7o2azn 12-03-2003, 09:00 PM why is hitting a deer a good thing? illGT4 12-04-2003, 12:24 AM depends on how you look at it. sk8nbroslofski 12-05-2003, 01:52 PM swapping into an 85 celica. and whats up with the quotation marks? 83 5MGE. its good that i hit the deer because it was in my eclipse and i dont care about that car illGT4 12-05-2003, 01:59 PM "swapping into an 85 celica." That's cool! "and whats up with the quotation marks?" Because you just said "supra" engine. You didn't specify which. Can't a brother ask a question? And about the deer, I was refering to how it is sometimes nice to have insurance. What year "eclipse" do you have. Or is that off limits to questioning?? :P later, Chris sk8nbroslofski 12-07-2003, 01:59 PM sorry bout the questioning, just made it look like u were being skeptical about whether or not it was actually a supra engine. the eclipse is a 91. its a piece of crap. im thinkin about fixing it up and turning it into a ricer and selling it. get a good 2 or 3 out of it. i paid 850 for it. i dunno, see what happens. im gonna be getting my own place next month so ill have facilities to work. illGT4 12-07-2003, 02:37 PM no problem, bro. Just yankin your chain. ;) do you have any pics of your swapin'? Later, CHris sk8nbroslofski 12-08-2003, 08:59 AM nah i havent done anything yet. besides take the 5mge out of the supra. djc4vettes 04-08-2004, 06:08 AM need anything else for that 85? i am parting out a 88 celica. thanks, dj iceecellica 04-23-2004, 06:19 PM that just doesnt make sence but let me know why the 85's are so great.. i mean.. they are really ugly... sorry but i just havnt grasped the concept as to why so many like that body style... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
