Recently I've had to drive my Neon in lower gears than normal at all speeds. When I do this all is well. When I don't, the engine reacts as if I'm in too high a gear. Also, there seems to be a delay in reving the engine after I've started the car and am trying to drive in first. Has anyone else had this problem? It doesn't seem too serious right now. It's been like this for a couple months.

When was the last time you changed the plugs and wires? It seems like it's just bogging down, right? Could just need a tune up.
