Blocking Off Hole For BOVdenjam69 12-15-2001, 03:09 AM How can i block the blow off valve hole where my current blitz 1 is so i can install it in the place of the standard 1 coz the blitz 1 aint working properly because of the standard 1! denjam69 12-15-2001, 03:10 AM heres where i want to put the blitz BOV.. WraithR32 12-20-2001, 07:07 PM If you haven't found out yet, here is my reply to this..... All I know is the R32, but that shouldn't matter in this case. R32 has a Rubber cap that fits onto that position.... Maybe try a wreckers or something or make your own. Slip it on and clamp it down!!:) denjam69 12-20-2001, 07:43 PM so piss the whole standard BOV off and place the rubber cap over the hole? I thought it would need to be welded, coz with the pressure in there rubber cap aint gonna hold pressure WraithR32 12-22-2001, 04:56 PM Well my BOV only has hose clamps holding it on with no probs, it holds 1.1bar OK and I don't think the R33s boost that high. Pressure at that point is not going to be any greater than any other, so clamping the cap should not cause any problems.:) denjam69 12-22-2001, 08:01 PM have u got a pic of your engine bay? WraithR32 12-23-2001, 07:21 AM Here ya go denjam69 12-23-2001, 08:59 PM thankz for the pic! what BOV u using? WraithR32 12-26-2001, 03:57 AM It's a RacePro BOV. :D :D RazorGTR 01-02-2002, 05:00 PM if you want to remove the factory BOV that is simple. Remove it and put either an aluminum or metal plate with a gasket in its place. I was going to do that with the GTS-t I had because I had to go to a Trust type R. So we blocked off the factory bov vent hose with a broom handle clamped in place and removed the vaccume line and capped that off on the unit. I have a piece of aluminum plate sitting on my dressor but flicked the car off for my GTR before I finished the project off. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
