Whats up everyone. Well this thread is mostly for the people who do 3d work, but if others are willing to help that would be great.

Well, I'm in animation class and my teacher has given us our final project. The project is animate a 3d object for 30 sec.

I decided to do a cheap version of Initial D style drifting. Now here is the problem. Since I never took 3d design class, that means I can't create my own car, or at least no where near the deadline of dec 15.

What I need from you guys is to let me use your 3d models for my video. This is not for commercial work so don't think i'm trying to rip you off. This is solely for my animation class, and I will give credit to the maker of the cars. I've seen some of your works, like the 350z so I know there are people in here who can do it.

I looked for 3d models on the net but all I found were pay sites, and the free stuff was like a 80s ford escort or a mercury. I need cars like the 350z, S13-14-15, skylines, you know, all the drift cars. But the minimum I need is 2 cars so somebody please help me out, or PM me.

Thanks in advance,

Raman B. "NarutoRamen"

what program are you going to use to animate it and make it all work together? there's a lot more to making 3d objects move than you think. you have to get the tires animated, suspension, turning, stuff like that. i've done a 3d sileighty before but it was pretty low polygons. i started to model a high poly corrado but formatted and..agh forgot to save it. good luck....

Damn dudes....I never said it was easy....and I know exactly what to do while Animating....Like i posted b4 animation is not the problem....finding the car is....which i haven't been able to ...and you guys telling me stuff I already know like "modeling aint easy" isn't gonna help me find a car.

Just tell me if you guys have a car that i can animate or not....other than that I don't really need to hear about how hard animation is....I've been doing hand drawn animation for like 3 years now and just recently like 6 months ago moved to 3d...so don't think you are hella smart by making a comment like that....the only reason I can't make a car by myself is because i never took lightwave "Modeling" class....I took animation....Modeling class was never listed in the class catalog...i didn't find out until it was too late!! Sorry if it sounds like i'm pissed off...it's just that I'm hella stressed cuz I still havent found a car!!!
