opinions on DropZone struts ???93DXon18s 12-01-2003, 12:03 PM whats everyones opinion on DropZone struts? are they worth it just for everyday driving with a lowered vehicle????? BullShifter 12-01-2003, 11:14 PM Junk No verndawg115 02-12-2005, 04:10 PM i've actually heard some negative things and positive things about dropzone..i've done research for about 4-5 months on that company asking people who have their setup what they thought. One guy had the dropzone coilovers with KYB-AGX shocks/struts and he said that he had a really good ride with this setup. He could adjust the softness/stiffness of his shocks also. He even said he had skunk2's on his last car and said this setup he has now, he likes better. Another guy who had a 98 Civic had dropzone coilvers and struts on his car and said that his ride was not bad at all. He said it isn't as stiff as people say it is. It depends where you live do you have a lot of bad streets or its it ok ya know..I also bought the setup for my 98 Civic Coupe. Struts/coilovers and I'm happy with them. They are stiffer, but it's really not that bad. Ask people that have the setup what they think. don't listen to people who say they've heard things how would they actually know? Go to car sites and find people who have the setup and ask what they think. Do some research on your own before you listen to other people. superbluecivicsi 02-15-2005, 03:48 AM from someone who has tried dropzones, tokico illuminas, and tokico blues..............................dropzone sucks................nuff said..............spend the xtra on blues or kybs. gunnmen01 02-22-2005, 09:36 PM i had kyb agx's and eibachs pro kits... i loved them.. gunnmen01 Prelewd 02-25-2005, 06:11 PM Didn't someone on here completely strip the threads off of the housing on the dropzone coilovers when they hit a bump too hard? That shouldn't happen.. BullShifter 02-25-2005, 06:17 PM i've seen low quality coilover sleeves do many things, none which are good. Sleeves cracked, Collars frozen, broken spring perches. You get what you pay for, especially when it comes to springs, struts, coilover sleeves, or true coilovers. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
