I have a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo and I truck has been sitting (haven't driven it because of knee surgery) in the garage for about 6 weeks and I started it up tonight and it ran fine but when I shut it off the keys would not come out! It will restart and I can drive but the keys still will not come out.

What do I do????????????????

Please help!

There should be a cable that runs from the ignition area to the center console/gear shift. Locate that cable under the streering column, give it a giggle & work the key at the same time . I've heard several reports of this happening to others. I guess the cable gets hung-up a bit.
