Stock Alarm Keeps Going OffCasinoNasios 11-29-2003, 07:27 PM My stock alarm goes off when ever it feels like it , ive already brought it in twice to fix that problem but still nothing....Im getting an aftermarket alarm soon but for now i just want to shut up my damn car. Its a 2000 honda accord coupe ex manual..is there a fuse i can pull to turn the stock alarm off with out shutting off any other features or do i just bring it to honda and tell them to shut it off....id rather do it myself rather then drop my car off for another day any help is appreciated, and im sure my neighbors would like to thank you too. ponchonutty 11-29-2003, 08:50 PM My stock alarm goes off when ever it feels like it , ive already brought it in twice to fix that problem but still nothing....Im getting an aftermarket alarm soon but for now i just want to shut up my damn car. Don't know. The OEM alarm is pretty much useless. The only real thing that triggers it is the doors, trunk and on some, the hood pin. So, double check these areas to make sure that you do not have a super sensitive switch. Maple50175 12-25-2003, 11:28 PM De-activating the alarms are pretty easy I had a stock alarm i belive in my 93 accord and i just took out some parts to get to my steering colum and bam you can see the relay and the box that sets the alarm i too mine out but if u can get that box out there are settings on it like little switches i belive u can take them out Hope it all works out good vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
