This could be the Bad Starter. same thing happen to my car, try everything but didn't get far. New Remanufacture Starter in start rite on, Hope you have the same prblm, hehe goodluck if it's the starter, ask me for instruction how to which old unit out and swap;) Rover 2 12-01-2003, 06:08 PM if it is the starter and you doe the work on your own car you can take the cover off that has 3 screws holding it on the hot post from battery will be on the side of this cover. remove the cover and see if the 2 contact sets are badly worn. If they are you can purchase new brushes which are way cheaper than new starter. If honda won't sell them to you check with Toyota) make sure that parts looke like those removed. Make sure that when contacts are taken apart that parts are put back exactly like they were removed or the battery will get grounded out. stopmenot2002 12-01-2003, 06:54 PM Thnkx Rover, I put in New Remenufacture, car starting great wothout any problm;) winlo408 12-02-2003, 04:47 PM wasnt the starter at all, just had moisture in the system, so i went out and bought some water treatment stuff and it worked.....thanx for the input anyways..... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
