i need help to know if when a cd player says it is locked do you know of the head unit the only thing that gets locked, or if the whole thing is locked? Basically i wanna know is, is the faceplate uneffected?

The whole thing is locked.
Remove the HAZARD fuse from the main fuse box(located under-hood) after the fuse has been out for 15 seonds re-install. The enter the correct radio code.

EDIT: Not the HAZARD fuse, I meant to say BACK-UP fuse!!!!
