Progress: Veilside RX-7 Ver.R

So i got all my orders from HLJ and Joe

and than my damm old airbrush compressor broke down , i got time and i started to build a Paintcabinet inspired by all the sprayboth threads

and bought a bigger compressor

and started to paint the Veilside RX-7

I know a lot of pics but i also had to buy a new digi cam and so i was very bussy i will post some pics of the finished interior and complet painted car some it will get a coat of perl effect blue or red with some clear coat i am not sure at the moment the red looks more light red than i expected and so it will be may blue or i have to buy some other perl effect coat !

Like that spray booth, I may build one of plyboard one day, nothing fancy though, with a nice plexi-glass window on it for light and nothing else to get in.

Hyundai Purple metalic don't know the number just got it from a friend who stopped painting and he got some leftover , that he give me !

Perl Blue , Perl Red , Golf 2 Fire and Ice Color and some other carpaint !

Sorry Joe it is a R33 from Fujimi the one you say it is not good and you got right interior detail sucks and i also got problems with the paint.
After primer and 1 color coat i got some bubbles in the paint.
But i was making all things like p-man HTD but i get no good results with Tamiya Sprays :sly:.
So i sanded the body again and the same happend again , no i will send it again and paint it with airbrush or some solutions why i got smal bubbles in the paint ??

Maybe to close or paint to cold ???

Is the RX-7 the Combat 1 or Combat 2?

I think it is a combat 1 if i am right ?:uhoh:

i wish i could make a booth like that. i made one but im only 14 and no job so its cardboard, from my dvd player i got for my b-day :iceslolan I dont have any pics but its just a box, about 22"x14"x12" and it has a plexiglass cover, and a vent i made, with a cover at the top so dust cant get in, and i dunno if it works yet i just made it. but anyway nice rx-7

hmmmmm, you can try to put the spray can in warm water for a while before you spray, if still have bubbles, maybe you spray too much paints (too thick) at once. Try to spray several thin coats, and then spray the final WET coat before the last thin coat dry. Hope this help.

I had some dust in the paint and sand the body whit 1000 wet and dry paper now it is waiting to get the second coat and than the blue or gold perl gloss coat !

Looks great!

I received my Veilside RX-7 just before Christmas. So far only got as far as attaching the bodykit and primer :grinno: I am going to spray it as close to the Veilside Combat silver as I can.
