anyone want to buy a 9 sec car for 35k? yes or no?tran_nsx 11-25-2003, 09:41 PM forget the supra, 300zx, 3000gt or any other car. if u want a fast 9 sec car for 35 grand here it is :icon16: . if u have the money would u buy it? http://www.revhard.com/racing/classifieds/greenek.htm. man i wish i had 35g's under my pillow :banghead: but again it won't as fun to build your own fast car, if not a 9 sec car. NOBU-SAN 11-26-2003, 07:47 AM Yeah, I think I's rather build my own. I'd feel a little ashamed pushing someone else's ride that fast, what with all the bragging that must accompany such a feat. Still, that's no slouch of a looker either. Car's dope, but I think I'd pass. got v-tec? 11-26-2003, 06:48 PM well if i had 35grand to spend on a car then yeah i would much rather buy that hatch over say a 04 wrx sti. got v-tec? 11-26-2003, 06:51 PM but couldnt you build your own 9sec hatch for less than that much? jcz1987 11-26-2003, 07:00 PM I would have to think about it. tran_nsx 11-27-2003, 01:19 PM but couldnt you build your own 9sec hatch for less than that much? there no exact amount depending on car and approach, but it takes quite a bit of money to get a car to do 9 secs. 11's or 12's wouldn't be as difficult and costly. PWMAN 11-27-2003, 06:21 PM I wouldn't, but thats just my opinion. I don't really care for drag only cars. I like a car that can be daily driven, and taken to the track on weekends. Maybe turn up the boost, run race gas, put on a set of slicks, and maybe be in the 12's or 11's. Thats a very fast street car. KrazyD 11-28-2003, 12:02 PM i agree w/ pwman, i'd take a 11's or 12's daily driver over that one...plus, 'tis got the ugliest interior! :-D (fashion over function anyday!) tran_nsx 11-28-2003, 09:23 PM i agree w/ pwman, i'd take a 11's or 12's daily driver over that one...plus, 'tis got the ugliest interior! :-D (fashion over function anyday!) what do u expect, it's a nine sec car. don't tell me ur expecting power windows and crap? this car is not a daily driver, but a drag car so it's not street legal. but i do see your point on the matter, this car wasn't made to drive around town but more for the hardcore race enthusiast, so for a $35k 9sec. car this isn't bad at all. turbo2nr 11-29-2003, 12:42 AM i'd have more fun building and tuning my own car for 35k. i can probably make a low 10sec dsm for that price.. hehe 1 Ricochet 11-29-2003, 12:07 PM I'll keep my own hatch thanks, I'm able to drive it to work. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
