Keyless Entry Problem

I have a 1999 V6. WHen I set the keyless entry with the remote the horn chirps twice and then after about 5-10 seconds the horn starts to honk and will not stop. Like I hit the panic button. Does anyone have any ideas how this might could be corrected??

sounds like a BCM problem, but thats only going on the info you gave me, there are MANY other variables, but the BCM is the Body Control Module. and controls all the accesories and body functions on the vehicle, remote keyless entry included.
