now im even further away, i bought another car, but why are the prices of the cars so expensive, like the viper 182,000? its not even 90 in real life, plus the level 7 motor is 450,000????, this game is crazy though, i love it.

The physics are okay overall. There were times when the car seemed like it was driving on a oil slick.

The short races get old. To mayh of the races one sided. I have played 90% of the game and I woudl say only 10% of the races were close battles. When compared with others games such as Project Gotham 2, TXR3 shows looks dated. Racing just one car at a time for short races is not as fun as the longer races with multiple cars.

Car selection is much improved or Zero. It is cool that they allow you to make adjustments to the handling of the car and the way the gamepad responds.

The low $20 price makes it ideal for those in need of another racing, but lack the $50 the best racing games demand.

If you already own games such as Project Gotham 2, Midnight Club 2, GT3 A-Spec, and you cannot wait GT4, then you might want this game. It is just cheap enough you might buy it. If it was $40, I would say it is a rental.

Press square during the loading screen for some close races :) they still suck at teh turning tho

1: Some areas were never completed(there are no buildings and no ground. Its like driving in space)

2: Certain cars are way too expensive(Thank God I only bought the West Corvette...Way too much money)

3: As always; the AI sucks on turns.

4: They made excellent cover-up stories for opponents who used to drive Hondas(Speed Box being one of them)

5: Gemballa is too damn expensive.

6: Music sucks(it started sucking around TXR0)

7. If a TXR4 is made they should change some of the wanderers' requirements(seriously...100,000,000? Change it back to 10,000,000 or feel the wrath of a pointless lawsuit!:rofl:).

No , none. Honda refused to allow its car models be introduced in this round. Not sure the reason , there may be several. One ridiculous one I heard is that they didn't like the idea of the engine swap option. Which is bull because I think Honda's have the record as having the most swapped engines on the planet.

Well, maybe that actaully has something to do with it. I mean, step back from Honda's point of view. They ARE the car that comes to miond when swaps are mentioned. However, honda didn't ask for or even want this label, so to speak. Maybe they didn't want to be assotiated further with that. I mean, engines swaps are so commen, maybe they didn't want to endorse and fuel that any more than it already is. Who knows, maybe not. Just a thought.

Quickest way is to raise (numerically lower) the final drive ratio (In the transmission settings) a bit. I forget where it starts with the FC3s , but take it down at least .5 from where it is , and do a test drive (bottom of the settings menu). You should be able to break 200 mph on the 2nd straightaway. Keep lowering the final drive til you do break 200 mph , or you lose decent acceleration ability. Also lower the ride height , that helps. Thats in the "suspension" menu.

What's your point? In Auto Modellista, they didn't allow their engines to be swapped, either.
And they definately didn't like the idea of a generic engine in their cars. Oh well, did you really want to race against a bunch of Civics, anyway?

Drop the V8 turbo... the L6 turbo is the best motor out there for the cars when you do an engine swap in my opinion. I tried the V8 and L6 and the 6 was way faster and happier to rev.

but one thing I found, and maybe it is just my PS2, but the miles trick doesn't seem to work anymore. I take the CD out, and let the game rack the miles, but when I put the cd back in, nothing happens. its not reading it or picking it up and starting the music or the game. like I said, maybe its just my PS2.

That happened to me some times....i would get really pissed off when i got up to like 1400 and then it wouldnt work! i just kept trying!

Don't touch the controller. Then after it's loaded go back to the garage. And uh, don't wait TOO long, do it in 300 or 400 mile sessions

All the custom cars now are just cars with parts that you can get with a normal car, except lighter, inability to do any tuning except engine tuning, and a custom paint job...uesless
The point is that you pretty much drive their car in that position. but you dont even get the special name, because you can apply a damn STICKER
Special cars are for the novelty, I mean, come on, dont tell me you dont want to drive the MCR BNR34, Ridox JZA80, or NOB s15 ;) Special cars are a bit slow, dont serve much of a purpose, and arent nearly as fast as the oppenent makes it seem. And by now, Im pretty sure you have wasted much of your money. You will never beat the game without a GameShark now, just a warning. Im at 99% completed, and the last wanderer wants 100,000,000CP from me to show up.

Or atleast, havent you play Initial D: Arcade Stage Ver2?! You get auras as you defeat more people (real people on the computer)

I used a gameshark 2 ver 2 and try to cheat, and i got 99,999,990, so i went out of garage and raced with someone, trying to get the 10 cp, but after the race, the money still didn't change, so i am confused....how do i get 100,000,000?? i also tried selling my cars but it didn't raise the cp beyond the cap either. I looked at couple of the posts saying that you can't save or else the cap will be there, does that mean i can't save through out the entire game or just when i am doing the money cheat? thanks

man this game kicks ASS!!! alot better than zero.

i started out with the 300Z turbo then wnet to a FD RX-7 and now i have a WRX STI ver.5 that's curently pushin about 460hp and compared to most of the cpu cars i'm going up against it's just to easy(hits 170 EASY). it has all the fac. body parts so that it'll be just a-little faster than cars with body kits(i going to get carbon fibor ver. of the fac. peices), but right now i'm building project "superman". i bought the mark 4 supra RZ and i'm building it up for straights. and i can tell you right now it's going to go HELLA fast. i'm no stranger to making supra's going extremely fast. it just depends on what kind of gearing you use.(i got one to do 270mph easy in 4th on GT3 hehe:D:D:D still doesn't have enough power to go into 5th)

later on i'm most likely going to get a skyline and build it up.(i've only unlocked the R32 GTR V-spec 2)

First you should stop using the Gameshark; you'll be sorry soon enough.

To answer your question, make sure that the codes numbers are correct. Go to Gameshark.com for that. Make sure you are actually activating the game on the Gameshark menu; you will know when it is flashing. Select "Start Game" , remove the Gameshark, then insert the game. It should work. Use caution though as some codes, when saved, will make the game glitch and you will have to start all over.

i am 91 % done with the game and i currently have 7 million dollars. i have beat all the rivals except the wanderers. when i look for the wanderers all i get is the other people that i've already beat. i am almost done with the game. i have a subaru wrx that runs 8.897 in the 1/4 mile. it has 600+ hp. i have a skyline a supra, and a rx-7 . i have level 9 engine upgrades. and everything else, oh and the intercoolers on the game are nice. well my opinion is that the game is sweet. i love it. well laters

I just ordered the game last week and I am still waiting for it. I do have one question though , I've heard you can get your whole car in CF. Is this true?? If it is then does it even look like CF? I want to have my car have like one half CF then have the other side look like the paint is ripping off and revealing the CF underneath. Possible?

yes you eventually unlock a CF body, as well as CF bumpers, side skirts, and wings. however, doing what you mentioned would be very difficult as you would have to actually draw it using the controller in the games "paint" mode. it barely looks like real CF.

Bwahahahaha.......The 3 Dragons just got their ass handed to them by my subaru WRX ( The newer one). I just spotted a glitch in the game a minute ago. Ok , In Shadow eyes' profile , they refer to him as " one of the former 13 ogre military officers" , but when you go to buy a car , and you look at his , The words that scroll along the bottom read " The driver of this machine is shadow eyes , one of the former 13 demons". I just thought that was kind of cool. I do have one question though... At which point in the game do you unlock the full carbon fiber body? I think it is kind of dumb that the bosses get good looking CF and when we buy CF stuff it is just flat black.

Kind of funny actually , Maybe five minutes after I posted , I unlocked lv. 7 weight down or something and it was full CF body. I've also noticed that sometimes on the other side of the highway you can spot some other cars , like supras , RX7's skylines etc..Thanks for the help though.
