Service Engine light

A friend of mines 96 grand am gt had the check engine light come on. I have a reader and hooked it up and came back with a P0141(O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction, Bank 1, sensor 2). Is this just prabably a bad O2 sensor or could it be something else?
