The RSX-S is 200hp, RSX Type R is 220hp. mycivic 11-24-2003, 01:19 PM what about rsx being originally a honda in japan? is this true too? Ricochet 11-24-2003, 01:23 PM Acura is an American-based company. All Integras over there have always been called Hondas, and still are. 1SlowAccord 11-24-2003, 01:23 PM Correct me if i'm wrong but in Japan its still the integra type-r. 1SlowAccord 11-24-2003, 01:24 PM looks like someone beat me to it mycivic 11-24-2003, 01:36 PM Acura is an American-based company. All Integras over there have always been called Hondas, and still are. but i thought acura was a japanese company. and that the rsx's in japan were originally honda's. :dunno: http://www.thehistoryofcars.com/acura.html Ricochet 11-24-2003, 01:40 PM RSX's are still called Integras in Japan, but they are Honda Integras still. Got it??? mycivic 11-24-2003, 01:43 PM RSX's are still called Integras in Japan, but they are Honda Integras still. USA has Honda and Acura, Japan only has Honda. Japan has all the Acura cars, but they're all called Hondas. Got it??? got it now. :) thanks for the info. SixSigma 11-24-2003, 09:37 PM Actually, you may have seen the Japanese version of the American RSX Type S. In Japan, its called the Honda RSX Type R. Weird huh? blasian_man 11-24-2003, 09:40 PM sigma, the type-s is different than the type-r i know for sure the hp numbers are different, and the type-r would probably be more expensive, they are 2 different models SixSigma 11-24-2003, 10:05 PM Sorry, its called the Honda Integra Type R. Here is link showing a pic and stats. http://www.type-r.com/src/spec.php RSX-S777 11-30-2003, 05:05 PM Honda, based in Japan, created a new division (Acura), based in the U.S. The cars are all technically Hondas. It's just a marketing move by Honda. They wanted to target a section of the foriegn market interested in upscale cars. Just like Toyota/Lexus, I think.
