hello,

I am planning to install turbocharger with less modificationin on my pathfinder, Model 1999 (i.e. without opening it! "some expert told me i have to modify some internal parts e.g. crank shaft....etc").

Q. what is the max. boost can the engine stand for? also do you have any recommendation?

Engine specification:
VG33E
V6 cylinders
3300cc
12 valves

regards,
DXB

I recommend you pick a different car and engine to turbocharge unless you want to sink a lot of money into it. If you ever do come up with a way to do it, feel free to post back. I don't think you will, unless you know how to fabricate a lot of engine parts yourself, and have some really deep pockets.

Thankx 88Pathoffroad for your reply.

1st. i am asking what is the maximum boost the engine can stand for (i.e. max. PSI)? i heard that it can stand for 4-5 PSI, but i am not sure about that, do you have any infromation?

2nd. about the cost, i can get inexpensive installation lubour charge with used turbocharger.
