Possible Electrical ProblemBruticus 11-21-2003, 11:08 PM Hey all heres a lil a problem i had to day with my 95 Lumina LS 3.1 V6 maybe u guys can help me out to determine my problem. Well i went out to the city today as i was coming home my car shut off i started it back up with no problem. As i was sitting at a light i looked at my speedo and notcied that the needles in the speedo and the RPM's were flickering up as if they were twitching. Also as i started to drive it felt like my tranny was messed up but it was fine as i went at a more higher speed. I wanna know if i might have a wiring problem that can be the problem with this. thanx. Bruticus 12-03-2003, 08:05 AM So anyone can help me out with this the same thing happened the other day. This time when i looked at my radio the lights were flickering can this be that the altenator needs to be changed ? Ill do it probably tomorrow but can this also be the reason why my tranny was acting weird ? Retardo 12-12-2003, 12:24 PM Could it possibly be a ground wire defective somewhere? Bruticus 12-13-2003, 06:44 PM Could it possibly be a ground wire defective somewhere? Nah it wasnt that it was the battery terminals they were corroded but not on the main battery on the AUXILLARY BATTERY i cleaned them off and bought some terminal cleaner spray and my problem was solved :bigthumb: 94 Z71 Blazer 12-19-2003, 08:25 AM Crank the car and while it's running, get a multimeter out and check your voltage...with nothing turned on it should read 14-14.7 volts...Maybe the battery's weak? Weak batteries often kill alternators... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
