does any one know where to get r-12 refrigerant for a 93 teg. or would it be better to convert the system to r-134a?

dealing with the EPA is a M/F, i'm an a/c tech, and without EPA cert, you can't get R-12 at all. converting to R-134a isn't hard, but a shop does have to do it, the old R-12 has to be removed, and the oil in the compresor and lines has to be flushed, if not the R-134a mixes with it and forms sludge....big headache. get it converted.
