Beeping noise. Help!!!

I have a 86 non turbo manual that has a beeping noise come from the driver side of the dash. Can some please tell me how to stop this or any suggestions on how to fix this problem. :banghead:

Is it on all the time? Have you checked your PS fluid? If you have PS, your PS computer is warning you.

thanks for the fast resond. Well i know for ta fact that my power steering pump is bad and have not worried about it because the car is fine without it. is there a wire to disconnect this noise until i can find a power steering pump. Also help with any info on where to get a pump for my ride. Thanks again.

There is a silver box, located under the drivers side dash, to the left of the steering wheel. That should be your PS box. Disconnect it.
