Okay i have heard that honda cranks are nearly bullet proof, but i am still wondering on how high of boost a stock H22 crank can handle. Also what are your guys opinions on instead of lowering the compression ratio with different pistons and rings just putting a thicker head gasket in?.. Wouldnt this make it easier to raise and lower the compression ratio later on? And anyone have any kind of idea the what the range$$ would be to get a H22 head port and polished? thanks alot

That Crank Will Hold 4-500 Hp Easy, The Rods And Pistons Will Not. Stay Away From Thicker Hg's. The Lowest Comp That We Use With Turbo Setups Is 9-1. With Higher Comp You Run Less Boost For The Same Hp, Higher Comp Spools The Turbo Faster, You Have More Power Out Of Boost = A Better Street Car. The Thicker Headgaskets Just Makes It Easier For The Thing To Blow Out. You Can't Blow Out The Head Or Block, The Gasket Is What Blows. We Do Head Work In House, Prices Start At $500.
